บล็อกคืออะไรใครรู้บ้าง?

บล็อก (blog) หรือ เว็บล็อก (weblog) เป็นวิธีสื่อสารมวลชนที่เจริญเติบโตรวดเร็วที่สุดในยุคปัจจุบัน บล็อกเป็นที่นิยมเพราะมันทำให้เราสามารถอ่านงานเขียนของคนอื่นได้โดยตรงโดยไม่ต้องผ่านการแก้ไขจาก editors ผู้บริหาร หรือใครก็ตาม การสร้างบล็อกก็ง่ายมากๆ ง่ายกว่าการสร้างเว็บไซต์ ง่ายดายเสียจนดูเหมือนว่า สิ่งที่ยากดูจะมีเพียงสิ่งเดียว คือ ไม่รู้ว่าจะเขียนอะไรลงไปในบล็อกดี

โดยส่วนตัวแล้ว ผู้เขียนคิดว่า บล็อกเป็นนวัตกรรมใหม่ที่ปฏิรูปเว็บ จากเว็บธรรมดาให้กลายเป็นเว็บที่มีปฏิสัมพันธ์ (interactive) มากขึ้น เปลี่ยนชุมชนคนเล่นเว็บ จากสังคมที่มีคนเขียนกลุ่มเล็กๆกับผู้อ่านจำนวนมาก (passive) ให้กลายมาเป็นชุมชนที่มีสมาชิกเป็นทั้งคนสร้าง content ด้วยการเขียน และเป็นนักอ่านไปพร้อมกัน (active) นอกจากนี้ มันยังช่วยลับคมความคิด แลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ และเป็นเครื่องมืออันมหัศจรรย์สำหรับนักการศึกษา ที่จะนำมาใช้ในการศึกษาของสังคมด้วย

อย่างไรก็ตาม อะไรคือสิ่งที่เรียกว่าบล็อกนั้นอาจแตกต่างกันไปตามมุมมองของแต่ละบุคคล เช่น บางท่านอาจเห็นว่าบล็อก คือ…

  • เครื่องมือในการตีพิมพ์งานเขียนแบบรวดเร็วทันใจ
    และบางคนก็คิดต่างออกไปว่ามันเป็น…
  • online journal ที่มีการอัพเดทข้อมูลอยู่เสมอ
    หรือเป็น…
  • สิ่งที่จะมาปฏิวัติเว็บ (เช่น ในเรื่องของ RSS)
  • วิธีใหม่ในการสร้างชุมชน
  • ทางเลือก (alternative) จากสื่อกระแสหลัก (mainstream media)
  • เครื่องมือที่ครูสามารถนำมาใช้สอน ‘การเขียน’ ให้แก่นักเรียนนักศึกษา
  • วิธีการใหม่ที่ใช้ติดต่อสื่อสารกับลูกค้า
  • รูปแบบใหม่ของการจัดการความรู้ (knowledge management) ในองค์กรขนาดใหญ่
  • สิ่งที่ช่วยให้เราไม่อยู่ว่าง ในขณะที่ยังว่างงานอยู่
  • วิธีคิดและเขียนเป็นย่อหน้าสั้นๆ แทนที่จะต้องเขียนอะไรยาวๆ ซึ่งเราไม่มีเวลาจะทำ
  • อีเมล… ใช่แล้ว ผู้เขียนไม่ได้เขียนผิดหรอก บางคนอาจใช้บล็อกเป็นอีเมลก็ได้ หมายถึงเป็นอีเมลที่เราเขียนถึงทุกๆคนพร้อมกัน (เป็นวิธีที่ดีที่ช่วยให้เราไม่ขาดการติดต่อสื่อสารกับครอบครัวและเพื่อนๆไปพร้อมกัน)
  • คำที่ฟังแปลกประหลาดพิกล และยังตลกด้วย
  • สิ่งที่เอาไว้คุยกับเพื่อนที่โรงเรียน หรือในงานเลี้ยง
  • URL ที่ใส่ไว้ใน resume
  • สิ่งที่ใช้กับโทรศัพท์มือถือ (audio blogging หรือ moblogging) (ดู Nokia Lifeblog - http://www.nokia.co.th/nokia/0,,80833,00.html)
  • สิ่งที่เราไม่อยากให้แม่อ่าน

Francesca Ortolani, leader of the Viking band is a young Italian singer, that Alessandro Luccardi caught at the Colosseum. Though she is not a blogger herself, she did seem to know very well what blogs are all about.

“A blog? Yeah. It’s a sort of Interest site in which people can have their own opinion and thoughts. Creating a blog is automatic mostly. What can I say? I haven’t got any. I think it is a way for everyone to have a personal website even if you’re not able to make one yourself. It’s quite easy to make a blog. You can update your website very easily without knowing anything about HTML or databases or whatever you need to make a website.”

I think there are simply a lot more of them so there is more information and the access ….. to the problems everyone is posting his own views, so it’s kind of also negative that is also only one it’s not objective, it’s very subjective view on certain topics, so I think it does’t place the best (as information).”
