ผู้เขียนลองสร้างโฮมเพจเอง วิธี? ง่ายมาก ใช้ text editor สร้างไฟล์ที่มีข้อความดังนี้:

<?php get_header(); ?>

<?php get_footer(); ?>

ถ้าต้องการให้โฮมเพจมี sidebar ด้วย ก็เพิ่มอีกหนึ่งบรรทัด

<?php get_header(); ?>

<?php get_sidebar(); ?>
<?php get_footer(); ?>

บันทึกไฟล์ด้วยชื่อ home.php เก็บไว้ในแฟ้มของ theme ที่ใช้งาน เท่านี้ก็เสร็จ

ลองแก้ sidebar ของ Kubrick เองโดยไม่ใช้ widget เริ่มจากใส่ข้อมูลของผู้เขียน หรือบล็อกเกอร์ เปิด sidebar.php ด้วย theme editor จะเห็นข้อความนี้

ให้เขียนข้อมูลของตัวเองลงไปแทนที่ข้อความ ‘A little something about you…’ แล้วลบแท็ก comment ออก เป็นอันเสร็จ (ผู้เขียนเปลี่ยนคำว่า Author เป็น Blogger ด้วย จะได้เข้ากันกับ ThaiBlogger)

ในที่สุดก็หาพบว่า รหัสของ StatCounter นี่เอง ที่ทำให้ sidebar ของ Kubrick กระโดดลงไปอยู่ด้านล่าง (เมื่อดูด้วย IE) ตอนนี้ เลยเอาออกไปก่อน

สำหรับ Kubrick (WordPress Default 1.6 ) การหมุนเปลี่ยน header จะต้องแก้รหัสที่ไฟล์ style.css โดยแก้จาก

#header {
background: #73a0c5 url(’images/kubrickheader.jpg’) no-repeat bottom center;
}

เปลี่ยนเป็น

#header {
background: #73a0c5 url(’images/rotate/rotate.php’) no-repeat bottom center;
}
